A reactor incident leads to a whole city district being shut down. What is left to rot and decay people call “The Garden”. Inside this district, the young girl Phelia waits for her parents’ return – though it is not them who finally finds her.
Der Garten is a short manga with 60 pages, originally drawn for a zine project and later lettered by Wolfgang Schütte. The characters wander through a setting of a polluted and abandoned city – though even here, life can be found.
